Alistair has been painting animal portraits professionally for over 20 years. His dog portraits have been exhibited at The Kennel Club, Chelsea Arts Club, Sandhurst Military Academy, The Metropolitan Police Headquarters, The PDSA Animal Charity, veterinary practices across London and the South East, West Sussex art shows and in many homes around the world.

Although Alistair has painted most breeds,

he has a personal interest in military working dogs and has painted the Royal Army Dog ‘Buster’, a Springer Spaniel that won the Dickin Medal for bravery during the Iraq war.  He also painted ‘Vinnie’, a black Labrador for the Anti-Terrorist Squad in London. Vinnie won the PDSA medal for gallantry for his work in clearing the tube tunnels of explosives following the 7/7 London bombings.
